Caring Lactation and Postpartum Support from the Start.
Local mom’s groups & postpartum support help families welcome their new additions.
First Latch & Counseling, Inc. is a lactation and counseling practice that promotes the health and happiness of children and families. As experienced health care professionals we prepare and support families through the challenges of parenting and breastfeeding.
We offer home and office visits, a drop-in clinic, group counseling, and individual and family counseling. We provide phone consultations, individualized care plans, and feedback to physicians. We also offer prenatal breastfeeding classes.
It is well documented that breastfeeding exclusively for the first 6 months of life has extensive health and mental health benefits for mothers and babies. We help families achieve their breastfeeding goals and provide additional support to continue having healthy outcomes for families.
Our combined experience, training, and team approach has given us the opportunity to help countless families.
